JGMS Fall Picnic
Lake Fretwell, October 11, 2008

The Jacksonville Gem and Mineral Society's fall picnic had a great turnout on a perfect day. While the chicken and pork had been smoked ahead of time, a thanks goes to Robert Thompson and Robert Rose. On the day of the picnic, thanks go to Ed and Linda Price for cooking the dogs, burgers from beef and bison, and sausage with venison. With all the side dishes, everyone had plenty to eat and drink. After eating, several tables had been set up for swapping, selling and give aways. How can anyone ask for more than good food, pretty rocks and great friends!
