The Jacksonville Gem and Mineral Society had a scheduled field trip on Saturday, August 16 to Summerville, Georgia to collect lace seam agate. Only David and Jac Schacter and Mickey, Barbara, Rachel and Matthew Cecil attended. We arrived at the site around 10:30 and after collecting a couple of buckets, we left around 12:30.
