Regardless of age, the Jacksonville Gem and Mineral Society is active
in teaching and supporting the lapidary arts at all levels. Most activities of the society allow for participation of all
age groups and especially to those young at heart.
At each monthly meeting, the youth group can attend the business part of the club's meeting; however, most decide to participate in a separate
youth activity. Everyone is encouraged to participate in "show and tell" and at the end of the meeting, door
prizes are given out. |
