| On April 19, 2008 JGMS opened its' workshop and set it up for kids only, and it became KIDS DAY!
Four stations were set up by JGMS members. The kids that attended rotated to those four stations, which included
Silversmithing taught by Jason Hamilton, Beading taught by Alice Gundlach, Chain Maille taught by Amy Ellis,
and an introduction to Rocks & Minerals taught by Craig Hamilton. Between each rotation, kids and parents enjoyed
snacks, drinks and drawings! The snacks were graciously supplied by Rosemarie Tyson . All kids left with
a gift bag embroidered with JGMS on it (compliments of Amy Ellis) and the bags held an assortment of tools and
accessories (compliments of Jason Hamilton). In addition, all the kids left with projects they created
(with a little help) under the skill of such master teachers. We had a great turnout of over 20 kids! Thanks
to all who donated time and materials to make this such a fun and exciting day! See you next year!
